Everybody needs some hope! Especially those individuals who have been told they are not
equipped or able to do what the rest of the world can do: getting a job, becoming independent, or becoming self-sufficient.
Healing HOPE is a vocational education program in which participants learn basic skills such as feeding and watering the animals, putting out hay, maintaining cleanliness of Kopper Top's facilities, properly storing items in the tack room, and working and communicating as a team with their peers. HOPE participants who work at
Kopper Top learn hard work, diligence, initiative, how to follow
directions, responsibility, and respect for authority.
While some tasks may seem menial to many individuals, these tasks are huge steps for others. Our desire is to equip our HOPE participants with a solid foundation to being proud of their work and toward obtaining a job in the community.
“Give thanks for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow.”
