Nestled in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, Kopper Top Life Learning Center is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality therapy. We utilize a non-clinical atmosphere by providing therapeutic horseback riding, recreational therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and horticulture therapy to individuals with or without disabilities.
Located on a 33-acre working farm in southeast Guilford County in Liberty, North Carolina, Kopper Top provides a safe, serene, and idyllic environment for individuals interested in promoting physical, cognitive, emotional and psychological developments within themselves and others. We offer a wide variety of animal and nature-based therapeutic and recreation experiences for individuals, families, and groups, as well as volunteer opportunities for people from all walks of life.
The mission of Kopper Top Life Learning Center is to provide quality therapeutic services, education and recreation therapy to individuals with and without disabilities through the use of animals to empower and enhance their quality of life.
Our goal at Kopper Top is to encourage participants and volunteers to accomplish their own individual objectives and goals. This farm strives to give greater meaning and purpose to lives stressed with disabilities and hardships.
Come along and explore our farm!
August is Kopper Top's 20th birthday!

End of summer greetings! Thanks to all who made our summer so wonderful--campers, Teaching Fellows, volunteers, supporters, and donors! We couldn't do it without you! If you are not receiving our Kopper Top email newsletters, and would like to stay up to date on what we are up to, please go to the box on our website and add your email address! We try very hard to keep our database current and updated, but sometimes get behind during the summer when we are so busy on the farm. We are working on creating 'volutneer blasts' for all of you who can't get enough of dirty hands and furry love--so that you will know what events are coming up! With no full-time media staff (no full time staff really other than Deborah!), it is sometimes a challenge to keep up with everything, but rest assured, we are trying our best:-)
Also, we are hoping to revamp our website this fall. As technolgy continues to advance, we find that a newer system will be more efficient for us in keeping our site current and user-friendly!
We are excited about all that fall holds, and hope that we can share it with you!
